Energy Drinks Get an Exotic Twist

Red Bull has announced its latest summer LTO: Red Bull Summer Edition Sudachi Lime. The company said the limited-time offering is now available with and without sugar at retailers nationwide while supplies last.

“At the heart of this flavor profile is a burst of citrus notes: zesty lime, tangy sudachi (a Japanese citrus fruit) and the subtle hint of pomelo—creating a symphony of vibrant tastes,” Red Bull said.

Red Bull Summer Edition Sudachi Lime is packaged in 8.4 fl oz and 12 fl oz yellow cans.

Meanwhile over at Celsius, the brand recently launched its new LTO Electric Vibe flavor, a spokesperson for the company told NACS.

“Celsius Electric Vibe delivers a refreshing Sparkling Tropical Freeze flavor with notes of pineapple, orange, cherry and grape. It’s truly summer in a can,” the spokesperson said.

On the private label side of the cooler, Stewart’s Shops is bringing back its Black Raspberry Dairy Shake for a limited time. “This creamy Dairy Shake features the taste of freshly picked black raspberries blended into the perfect spring and summer treat. This year, Stewart’s is creating an exciting new way to enjoy this tasty shake. Jazz up your Stewart’s iced coffee or cold brew by ordering it Razzle Dazzle Style,” the retailer said.

Stewart’s said the drink is produced with milk from its plant in Greenfield, New York.

On the other side of the country, Oregon-based Plaid Pantry Convenience Stores is now offering “a curated selection of hemp‑derived THC beverages that bring bold flavors and a convenient, ready‑to‑drink option to the beverage aisle.”

Hemp beverages have been on the rise, and major retailers have taken note. Total Wine & More has long been in the THC beverage business. Circle K entered the space in 2025, followed by DoorDash.
