Tartan Oil LLC, the wholesale marketing division of Pilot Company, recently launched Checkpoint, a new customer portal that “helps customers manage their accounts with unparalleled ease and simplicity,” as well as its reimagined website. "Checkpoint offers an intuitive solution that streamlines account access, order management and reporting, giving customers more control of their energy needs,” Pilot said.

The website was rebuilt to deliver a “unified digital experience” for current and potential customers, and features a modern design and showcases how Tartan serves the energy needs of customers across the U.S. and Canada, the company said.

Pilot said that Checkpoint’s features are tailored for customers seeking wholesale marketing services beyond their current connection to Tartan’s team. Capabilities of the portal include:

  • Order fulfillment: Customers can create new orders and receive approval notifications directly from the homepage. Each feature is customized to align with account-specific settings.

  • Enhanced search functionality: With advanced search tools, users can locate documents using bill of lading (BOL), invoice numbers or purchase order (PO) numbers.

  • Credit information access: A centralized dashboard enables customers to request credit increases and view balances and limits.

  • Allocations management: This feature offers a familiar DTN interface to help customers track and manage allocations effortlessly.

  • Location setup: Adding and configuring new locations is now seamless, with built-in approval workflows to ensure everything is set up correctly the first time.

  • Self-service features: Customer can access essential documents to managing user roles independently.

“Tartan is committed to exceptional service and Checkpoint is an example of how we are continually innovating for our customers,” said Jesús Guerra, president of energy at Pilot Company. “The portal and website have been designed with our customers’ needs at the forefront, helping them save time and take charge of their operations like never before.”

In other recent Pilot news, last month the retailer deployed NCR Voyix’s point-of-sale for both retail and commercial fuel solutions, along with a suite of additional platform capabilities.
