Wawa is now offering “Snack & Go Tacos” and new seasoned beef recipes at all of its 1,200-plus Wawa stores for a limited time now through August 10, according to a press release from Wawa.

“Wawa tacos are made with soft flour tortillas and can be filled with a choice of the brand-new seasoned beef, chicken, steak or black beans, topped with shredded cheddar cheese, sauces, (medium salsa roja, garlic aioli, BBQ, ranch, Buffalo or chipotle sauce) and fresh toppings (shredded lettuce, fresh salsa, fire roasted corn, onions, pickled jalapenos),” the retailer said.

Wawa said the tacos are available for order 24/7, while the new seasoned beef recipes are available beginning at 5 a.m. through 9 p.m. daily. New taco recipes include seasoned beef and fire roasted corn, spicy cheesy chicken and crispy cheesy chicken. The seasoned beef will also be available in burritos, rice bowls and quesadillas.

“During our research, Wawa customers were clear: they wanted tacos,” said Mary-Rose Hannum, chief food & beverage officer at Wawa. “We listened and we’re thrilled to bring our customizable tacos and seasoned beef recipes to our menu for a limited time.”

Earlier this month, Sheetz announced it was bringing back its “crunchy tacos” alongside additional Mexican-style menu items.

“Back by popular demand, crunchy tacos return to the menu for a limited time … These bold, over-the-top takes on a classic taco deliver maximum crisp and flavor—and you can grab six for just $6 at all 830-plus Sheetz locations,” the retailer said.
