Pennsylvania-based Nittany MinitMart raised $26,756 for local food pantries through its “Fuel the Hungry” round-up campaign in December, according to a press release.

The retailer said the fundraiser capped off a year of community-focused giving at Nittany MinitMart, which operates 28 c-stores across central and northern Pennsylvania.

“Customers at each store were invited to donate their extra change at checkout, with proceeds going directly to food pantries near each location, keeping donations local and ensuring they benefited nearby families,” Nittany MinitMart said.

“Giving back to the communities around our stores is at the heart of what we do,” said Nicole Masullo, senior vice president of Nittany MinitMart. “We’re so thankful to our customers for helping make these donations possible and for supporting their neighbors in need.”

Nittany MinitMart also said it is excited to continue partnering with local nonprofits, schools and community organizations to give back to the communities surrounding its stores in 2026.

The food pantry fundraiser was one of several round-up campaigns Nittany hosted in 2025. Over the course of the year, they also raised funds for volunteer fire companies and children in hospitals through Angelina’s Song and The Jared Box Project.
