After hosting a round-up program at checkout at the end of 2024, Pennsylvania-based Nittany MinitMart donated $20,615 to Angelina’s Song, a nonprofit dedicated to providing music therapy to children in hospitals, according to a press release sent to NACS.

“Employees and customers came together to raise funds for Angelina’s Song, a Williamsport-based organization founded in honor of Angelina, a young girl whose battle with cancer inspired her family to create an organization that would bring the joy and comfort of music to children across the country,” said Nittany MinitMart.

“Small acts of kindness add up to make a big impact,” said Nicole Masullo, division operations manager at Nittany MinitMart. “It makes us so proud to see how much our customers care about giving back. It’s because of them that we were able to make this donation, and we know it will make a huge impact on so many children’s lives.”

The retailer said the December fundraiser closed out a year of giving for Nittany MinitMart, which gave back to community organizations throughout 2024. Through fundraisers and donations, the company supported volunteer firefighters, local school sports programs and extracurriculars, area animal shelters, disaster relief and many other community-driven programs.
