New York-based Mirabito Convenience Stores recently completed another Mirabito Cares Round Up campaign and raised $60,000 for both The Upstate Foundation and Friends of Bassett, the retailer told NACS. Each organization will receive $30,000.
The campaign was held at 112 Mirabito Convenience Store locations across New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont from March 2 through 31.
“The funds were made possible through the generosity of Mirabito customers who rounded up their in-store purchases at Mirabito stores, combined with a significant corporate contribution from Mirabito. Proceeds will directly support lifesaving care and resources for families at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, and help offer preventative care through Bassett Healthcare Network’s School-Based Health Program to keep children healthy,” the retailer said.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our customers and the dedication of our team, who make our Round Up campaigns so impactful,” said Marissa Sweeney, senior director of marketing for Mirabito Holdings Inc. “Pediatric healthcare plays a critical role in building a strong future for our communities, and the work these two organizations do to support children and families is truly invaluable. We are proud to support the Upstate Foundation and Friends of Bassett in their ongoing efforts to advance the health and wellbeing of our youth.”
