Idaho-based Jacksons Food Stores is teaming up with Boise State University (BSU) basketball players for the 2025-2026 season, the retailer told NACS. Jacksons has signed Andrew Meadow, Julian Bowie, Javan Buchanan and women’s basketball forward Tatum Thompson to a name, image and likeness (NIL) partnership for the upcoming season.
“Fans will see these athletes featured on Jacksons’ social media accounts, website, in the Let’s Go Rewards app and on billboards in the Treasure Valley. Followers of each athlete’s social media will also find sponsored content highlighting the athlete’s relationship with Jacksons,” Jacksons said.
Starting in January, if the men’s basketball team scores 75 points or more in any game (home or away), fans can visit any Treasure Valley Jacksons locations within two days following the game and pick up any size fountain drink for 75 cents with Jacksons’ Let’s Go Rewards.
Meadow, Bowie, Buchanan and Thompson will be compensated for their participation in the partnership.
“We’ve had a lot of fun with these NIL partnerships over the last several years,” said Kelly Boyd, director of marketing for Jacksons Food Stores. “We’re really excited to continue growing this program and the addition this season of a women’s basketball athlete in Sydney.”
In August, Jacksons announced it would be the exclusive retailer of the Boise State University Bronco football collectible trading cards for the fourth consecutive year. The retailer also teamed up with football players Latrell Caples and Breezy Dubar through a NIL partnership.
