EG America has partnered with Vroom Delivery, a provider of digital commerce solutions for convenience retailers, to offer its guests online ordering and delivery, per a press release sent to NACS. Vroom is managing EG America’s third-party marketplaces, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. Five hundred stores across EG America’s network are now live, with additional location rollouts expected, the retailer said.

“The program leverages Vroom’s Automated Menu Management (AMM), which automatically populates each store’s menu with every product available in-store—no manual updates required. Vroom’s integration with DoorDash’s Retail API ensures that DoorDash customers will be able to quickly and easily find any one of the thousands of products in EG America’s catalog when they search for specific products in the DoorDash App,” the retailer said.

Vroom’s integration with PDI’s Commerce API allows orders to flow directly to EG America’s back-office with correct pricing and markups, allowing employees to pick and bag items once the order is received, according to the retailer.

Vroom Delivery’s expertise in the convenience industry, as well as with our other technology partners, helped expedite time to launch resulting in an immediate positive business impact.”

All EG America store brands—including Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint Food Stores, Tom Thumb, and Turkey Hill—are part of this launch and now offer online delivery across 23 states nationwide.

Earlier this month, EG America announced it is introducing new grab-and-go food options. Available at all banners under EG America is the LTO Chicken Fajita Tornado. “These Cheesy Chicken Fajita Tornados combine tender charbroiled chicken strips with a melty blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, plus green and red bell peppers and savory onions,” the retailer said.
