Resources to help businesses properly navigate audits or raids by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have been posted by Fisher & Phillips, an international law firm specializing in labor and employment law.
An Employer’s Playbook For ICE Audits And Workplace Raids was developed to provide businesses with a detailed playbook that includes proactive steps to take to minimize the chances that a business could face an immigration audit or raid and practical steps to consider should immigration officials arrive at a workplace. In addition, two checklists were developed to use as a recap for the key pieces of guidance.
Fisher & Phillips has regularly contributed employment insights for NACS programs and events including webinars and meetings that include the NACS Human Resources Forum.
The recently posted resources are not specific to the c-store industry but were intended to be used by all businesses. The company also has posted an FAQ regarding ICE audits and ICE raids.
