Mirabito Cares, the community engagement arm of Mirabito Convenience Stores, raised $75,000 to benefit Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders, according to a press release.
The retailer said the funds were raised through a round-up campaign where customers were invited to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar. The campaign was held across 109 Mirabito Convenience Stores from June 2 through July 6, 2025. The proceeds from the campaign will remain within the Mirabito footprint, supporting families in the communities Mirabito serves.
“At Mirabito, we are deeply committed to honoring and supporting the heroes who protect and serve our nation and communities,” said Marissa Sweeney, senior marketing director of Mirabito Holdings Inc. “It’s part of our mission to give back, and we are honored to stand with Folds of Honor in supporting the educational futures of the children and spouses of veterans, military members and first responders.”
To commemorate the success of the campaign, the retailer presented a check to the Folds of Honor team at the Mirabito Convenience Store location in Queensbury, New York. The site is one of four recently acquired Stewart’s Shops, “part of Mirabito’s continued growth and commitment to serving more communities across New York and into Vermont.”
“With this acquisition, we are excited to extend … [our] commitment to excellence to our new convenience store locations—supporting our home fuel customers on the road and bringing added value to the communities we know and care about,” Mirabito said at the time of acquisition.
Mirabito said the locations will now be compatible with the Mirabito Rewards program.
