The Spinx Company announced the opening of its Spinx Market & Eatery, a new concept from the company. “Positioned in the heart of downtown Greenville [South Carolina], the Spinx Market & Eatery is set to become the go-to neighborhood nook for all of life’s necessities,” the company said in a press release.

The Spinx Market will operate seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. while the kitchen will operate from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Breakfast will be served from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m., while lunch and dinner options will be served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. After 9 p.m., grab-and-go options will be available until 2 a.m. The menu will include Spinx’s fried chicken while featuring new items such as paninis, flatbreads, salads, assorted pastries, desserts and more.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Spinx Market & Eatery to downtown Greenville,” said Steve Spinks, president and CEO of The Spinx Company. “Our mission is to make people’s lives easier, and that means evolving to meet customers changing needs. This new concept offers a welcoming space where locals and visitors alike can find what they need, whether it’s a quick snack, a legendary chicken biscuit or a refreshing beverage. We’re committed to being a good neighbor and providing an elevated shopping experience that makes life a little bit easier for everyone.”

The Spinx Market & Eatery offers a wide variety of items, including quick snacks, fresh produce, made-to-order food, everyday essentials and other local favorites. Customers will also be able to buy beer and wine and enjoy it on the store’s premise. Greenville-based Double Stamp Brewery created two special brews just for the Spinx Market & Eatery.

According to the Greenville City Economic Development Corporation, the store’s décor pays homage to the company’s history, with pictures of founder Stewart Spinks and the first convenience store location in Greenville, in 1972. The company also has plans to use the Market & Eatery model in other locations.

Greenville Mayor Knox White said, “Stewart and his family have really committed to a level of quality here that has really raised the bar. This could have just been a ‘grab-n-go’ concept, but they’ve made it something truly special, as you can see when you come in here.”

Over the summer, Spinx opened a new store in Greenwood, South Carolina. “We are excited to expand further into the Greenwood market with this new full-service store,” said Spinks. “We look forward to making lives easier while offering our Greenwood area customers top-notch service, quality products and a convenient shopping experience.”
