Dunkin’ and Dutch Bros add a variety of summer-inspired drinks to their menus.

Dunkin’ has launched the second part of its summer menu series. Limited time items for this round of releases include a s’mores cold brew, a bonfire s’mores frozen coffee and a s’mores donut.

Last month, Dunkin’ announced the arrival of its Tornado Twist Sparkd’ Energry drinks, which come in a variety of flavors, including berry burst and peach sunshine. Dunkin’ mobile app members can snag a Sparkd’ Energy drink for $3 throughout the summer.

Dutch Bros also announced the second part to its summer menu, after previously launching a Churro Freeze and Watermelon Fizz earlier in the season.

New items for this launch include a cookie dough Freeze (made of blended chocolate chip cookie dough coffee, then topped with cookie dough pieces and Dutch Bro’s whipped Soft Top), the Sherbet Rebel (an orange, passionfruit and sweet cream energy drink topped with a strawberry float) and a tropical frosted lemonade (blended with passionfruit, strawberry, coconut, blue raspberry and sweet cream).

These new menu items come at a time of major uptick in energy drink consumption. Many retailers are creating their own energy drinks to meet demand. Starbucks recently launched its own lineup of Iced Energy beverages. Available flavors include melon burst, tropical citrus and a frozen tropical citrus Iced Energy with strawberry puree drink.
