WetGo Car Wash, a brand of Giant Eagle Inc., along with GetGo Café + Market and Giant Eagle supermarkets, celebrated the grand opening of a newly constructed location in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, about 16 miles south of Cleveland.

While this new location is the 46th opening for WetGo, it is only the fourth stand-alone location for the car wash service. The location is “extremely close to a GetGo Café + Market (right across the street) and a Giant Eagle supermarket is right down the road, so our myPerks members have easy access to shop our family of brands,” Chris Romba, WetGo senior director told NACS Daily.

In honor of the new location, the festivities kicked off last Thursday and continue through today, January 29. The celebration includes five days of free car washes, discounts on unlimited car wash plans and giveaways.

“We’re so excited to celebrate the opening of our newest WetGo Car Wash here in Middleburg Heights,” said Brandon Daniels, senior manager of public relations and communications, WetGo. “This grand opening is designed to celebrate this community that’s welcomed us with open arms.

“We’re incredibly proud of this location and of our team. We had a great day celebrating this grand opening,” Romba noted. “We’re fortunate at this location to have a great parcel of land that has plenty of room for easy navigation. Middleburg Heights is a fantastic community. We’re honored to be part of all the economic growth in this area.”

The 47th WetGo location is scheduled to open outside of Pittsburgh in late February, Romba told the Daily.

Earlier this month, Giant Eagle debuted its single platform myPerks loyalty program. All Giant Eagle customers enrolled in the retailer’s fuelperks+ loyalty program were transitioned into myPerks on January 25.
