Krispy Kreme announced that it released its new “Chocomania” Collection—four doughnuts coated, filled and drizzled with Hershey’s chocolate.
Beginning on February 19, the foursome of donuts is available for a limited time at participating shops. “From toppings to fillings, the doughnuts deliver rich, indulgent layers of irresistible Hershey’s chocolate, the Chocomania Collection brings it all,” the company said in a press release.
The Chocomania Collection:
- Hershey’s Galaxy Brownie: A doughnut filled with Hershey’s special dark fudge cream dipped in Hershey’s chocolate icing and topped with crunchy brownie pieces and rainbow sprinkles.
- Hershey’s Black & White Chocolate Chip Dream: An original glazed doughnut inspired by the iconic black and white cookie. Dipped in white icing and drizzled with Hershey’s chocolate icing and mini chocolate chips.
- Hershey’s Chocolate Cake Overload: A Hershey’s fudge old-fashioned cake doughnut dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing with a Hershey’s dark chocolate fudge buttercream dollop.
- Hershey’s Chocolate Iced: An original glazed doughnut dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing and decorated with a chocolate drizzle.
Elsewhere, Wendy’s announced that it collaborated with Cinnabon to offer a new menu item that will be available in restaurants on February 26. The QSR is adding the Cinnabon Pull-Apart to celebrate the brand’s four-year anniversary of offering breakfast.
According to the company, the Cinnabon pull-apart features “warm Danish dough dunked in a glaze, then baked with cinnamon, brown butter and sugar,” topped with Cinnabon’s “signature cream cheese frosting, which includes a subtle citrus note that amplifies the flavor.”
The company said that its innovative take on a cinnamon roll is about the “one-of-a-kind, fun breakfast experience” for customers.
