Tulsa-based QuikTrip announced the opening of its first Oklahoma City metro area location with a new travel center in Moore, located west of Interstate 35, reported Tulsa World.

The location will include a spacious store design, along with larger lots that can service 20 vehicles for gas and house five diesel bays for trucks. The Moore location will also include a full-service QT Kitchens, donuts, sub sandwiches, wraps, pizza by the slice and roller grill items, the company said.

“QuikTrip customers for years have asked us when we would come to the Oklahoma City area, and we are excited to now be bringing QuikTrip’s signature brand of quality and efficient service to the west side of our home state with the opening of our newest location in Moore,” said QuikTrip corporate communications manager Aisha Jefferson in a news release.

“Our travel center will offer a safe, clean and friendly stop for the many travelers driving on I-35 as well as local residents in the area,” Jefferson said.

QuikTrip has an additional Oklahoma City metro location under construction that is expected to open later this year, reported Tulsa World.

Last year, QuikTrip was one of three c-store brands to be named in the top twenty of Forbes inaugural 2024 Best Brands for Customer Service, coming in at No. 17.

The list was created in partnership with data analytics company HundredX, using a year-long online survey of 201,000 people in the United States with ratings on more than 3,000 brands. Brands were ranked in four different categories of customer service, including the employees who interact with customers, how long it takes the company to provide the good or service, the processes associated with the product or service and how well problems are resolved.
