Love’s Travel Stops newest location in Bakersfield, California, is located off Highway 99 and Taft Highway. This location marks its 16th store in the state.
The Bakersfield location is open 24/7 and offers several food options, including Love’s branded snacks and a Love’s Fresh Kitchen, which prepares fresh salads and wraps daily. According to the press release, an Arby’s is scheduled to open in the coming days.
The Bakersfield travel stop will be “one of Love’s largest locations, adding 111 truck parking spaces for professional drivers and a dog park for customers traveling with four-legged friends. Customers can expect a Speedco shop as well as eight RV parking spaces with hookups, water and sewer services for overnight stays to open in the near future.”
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s split a $5,000 donation between nearby Ridgeview High School and Golden Valley High School.
Earlier this month, Love’s opened a new location in Valdosta, Georgia, which was its 20th location in the state of Georgia.
Stewart’s Shops celebrated its rebuilt Worcester, New York, location with a grand opening event.
State Senator Peter Oberacker, Assemblyman Chris Tague and Worcester Deputy Town Supervisor Dave Miller were present at the ribbon cutting. The event also was highlighted with a day of specials on ice cream, beverages, pizza and gas.
The rebuilt shop is nearly twice the size of its previous store at 4,236 square feet, and features an expanded grocery selection, a new sub case, a beer cave, iced coffee and cold brew options and an ice cream counter.
Kent Kwik opened a new location in Odessa, Texas. The new location is open 24/7 and features a full-service deli, a beer cave, a drive-thru and a carwash.
Kent Kwik recently launched a new item to its hot breakfast menu: the Double Barrel Kolache. The kolache, inspired by the Czech pastry, is being tested at select Kent Kwik locations, including three stores in Midland, Texas, and one in Odessa, Texas.
