Chick-fil-A announced that it is bringing back its limited time offering, the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich, beginning August 26. In addition, the QSR said that it is also introducing a spicy version of the sandwich for guests to enjoy.

The restaurant said that the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich is “the brand's best-selling seasonal offering of all time,” and was also the brand's first-ever twist on the original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich in 2023. The sandwich features a Chick-fil-A filet drizzled with honey, topped with pimento cheese and served on a warm, toasted bun with mild pickled jalapeños. This time around, guests can have the sandwich with the spicy chicken filet.

"When we released the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich last fall, not only did we receive overwhelmingly positive feedback, but we also saw our guests making their own unique twists by swapping the original filet for the spicy filet. They inspired us to officially offer a spicy version as its own menu item, and we are thrilled to deliver what we know our guests want more of!" said Chick-fil-A Chef Stuart Tracy.

The brand also announced that after a 13-year hiatus, it is bringing back its banana pudding milkshake. In addition, guests can try the new banana frosted coffee. The treat is a blend of cold-brewed coffee, the brand's Icedream dessert, banana and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles.

Meanwhile, KFC debuted three new saucy nuggets flavors to its menu. On August 12, KFC’s new honey garlic, chipotle ranch and mango habanero sauces joined its lineup alongside its Korean BBQ and honey BBQ sauces.

The chicken QSR also announced three brand-new $5 deals to its Taste of KFC menu. The deals include:

• KFC chicken nuggets: Eight chicken nuggets, secret recipe fries and a choice of two sauces.
• Famous bowl with KFC chicken nuggets: Famous Bowls are made with a foundation of mashed potatoes, sweet corn and KFC's 100% white meat chicken nuggets, layered together and drizzled with home-style gravy and topped with a blend of three shredded cheeses.
• Two-piece drum and thigh: Two pieces of hot fried chicken (drum and thigh), mashed potatoes and gravy and a buttery biscuit.

In addition to the suite of $5 deals, KFC continues to offer its "$10 Tuesdays" deal: get a bucket full of eight pieces of drums and thighs at KFC for just ten bucks. Every day of the week, the restaurant offers the $20 Family Deal—which includes six pieces of chicken on the bone (two drums, two thighs, one breast and one wing), four individual sides and four biscuits.
