Casey’s General Stores announced its sponsorship of Kyle Busch, a NASCAR superstar, at the upcoming Kansas Speedway race in the playoffs.

Fans can expect to see the Casey’s logo and colors on Busch’s No. 8.

The retailer has been a longtime supporter of motorsports, previously sponsoring racers like Brian Brown. However, sponsoring one of NASCAR’s biggest names highlights a further commitment to the sport, said Sportskeeda. The move will solidify their presence in the world of NASCAR with Busch’s racing fame.

Kyle Busch is a two-time winner of the NASCAR Cup Series and is no stranger to victory at Kansas Speedway. According to Busch’s website, he has one at least one NASCAR series race each season since 2005 and advanced to the Championship 4 five seasons in a row, 2015-2019.

Casey’s expressed its excitement for the race and sponsorship on X, reposting Busch’s video of him “fueling up for the dirt track,” as he comes out of a Casey’s General store with pizza in hand.

Casey’s also made an announcement on X, stating “You can find us in the fast lane today with Kyle Busch at Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400.” Additionally, Casey’s asked their followers which pizza they “would put the pedal to the floor for if it was free?”

The retailer is far from the only c-store to race around the track with NASCAR this year. Wawa sponsored four teams at the Wawa 250, with each team representing a different energy drink flavor. Kwik Trip sponsored Kyle Busch as well at the Michigan 400.
