OKLAHOMA CITY—Love’s Travel Stops is offering a 10-cent-per-gallon discount on gasoline and auto diesel. The discount is redeemed through the Love’s Connect App and is available at Love’s locations in 40 states through April 30.

“As the leader in Highway Hospitality, we continue to focus on providing more value to meet customers’ needs,” said Francie Koop, director of customer and brand strategy for Love’s. “The 10-cent discount on gasoline and auto diesel is an extension of savings that have been available to professional drivers through the Love’s Express billing card, and we’re excited to continue to give customers more reasons to choose Love’s.”

After customers set up an account on the app, they can access a barcode and scan it at the pump or enter the barcode number when paying to save. Customers can also use the Love’s Connect App to get deals on snacks, drinks and fresh food at Love’s locations.

Last fall, GetGo announced a fuel discount sale at all its Indiana locations through January 8. Pilot Flying J offered a 10-cent gas discount through December 31, and Wawa launched its “Fueling Good” initiative last year, which included a Wawa App fuel discount program through November 30. The fuel discount was 15 cents off per gallon.

Sheetz has been reducing the price of various products in the past several months. Last month, the retailer lowered the price of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to 99 cents a gallon through the end of January at select locations. Last week, Sheetz announced that the discount on DEF will continue through February 28. Last month, Sheetz also reduced diesel prices by 50 cents per gallon through the end of the month at each location that sells the fuel type, and in November, it reduced the price of Unleaded 88 to $1.99 a gallon.
