NASHVILLE—Hunt Brothers Pizza is welcoming back the latest addition to its LTO lineup—Chicken Alfredo Pizza, according to a news release. Beginning today for a limited time, participating c-stores can offer the alfredo-based pizza for a third year in a row.

“We are very excited to see more consumers try this unique flavor combination as chicken alfredo is such a traditional, loved flavor,” said Dee Cleveland, Hunt Brothers Pizza director of marketing. “We look forward to each new quarter to see how our c-store partners are implementing LTOs in order to bring in new consumers and generate store profits around a unique, quality hot food offering.”

Chicken Alfredo Pizza features Hunt Brothers Pizza’s original crust topped with alfredo sauce, part-skim mozzarella, white cheddar, aged Asiago cheeses and diced chicken. The finishing touch is a sprinkling of Hunt Brothers Pizza’s signature Just Rite Spice.

Consumers can purchase the Chicken Alfredo Pizza as a large 12˝ whole pizza or a Hunk A Pizza (1/4 of a 12˝ pizza) while supplies last.

Additionally, Hunt Brothers Pizza is expanding its distribution service to the New Mexico market. Hunt Brothers Pizza’s distribution partner TBHC Delivers will now service the state.

“Our primary goal is to be a blessing to our store partners by providing a profit center in their store with consistent margins as other margins continue to shrink,” said Cleveland. “We believe in maintaining strong partnerships and want to partner with our stores every step of the way to help ensure their pizza program is set up to serve their community best.”

The decision to expand into the New Mexico market comes after a recent successful expansion in the neighboring region of West Texas last year. “Community feedback about having Hunt Brothers Pizza [in West Texas] has been very positive,” said Sarah McKinnon, president of West Texas–based convenience store chain Swift Stop. “Hunt Brothers Pizza is an excellent product, the price point is reasonable, and it adds an ease of service for my staff.”

“A part of our business we are incredibly proud of is our ability to service store partners in rural areas that may be ‘food deserts,’” said Cleveland.

Hunt Brothers Pizza last year celebrated 30 years of bringing a high-quality, turnkey foodservice program to convenience stores and other outlets.
