IRVING, Texas & AUSTIN, Texas—7-Eleven is adding hot honey boneless wings to its menu at participating 7-Eleven and Stripes stores, according to a news release. The wings are made of all-white meat in a sweet and savory sauce, and the company is offering 16 boneless wings for $5.

"At 7-Eleven, we always look for ways to delight our customers with fun menu items. As summer heats up, we look forward to providing delicious food options that pair perfectly with the warm weather," said Robin Murphy, 7-Eleven senior director of fresh foods. "These Hot Honey Boneless Wings are reminiscent of outdoor grilling in the summer, and the contrast of sweet and spicy is an ongoing food trend that will satisfy any craving."

For a limited time, members of the 7Rewards loyalty program can purchase eight boneless wings for $2.99 at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations.

Additionally, Texas-based TXB (Texas Born) is adding new, locally sourced LTOs to its menu, including smoked pulled pork sourced from Austin Blues, an Austin-based smoked meats brand. TXB crafted five pulled pork menu items for customers to enjoy this summer, including a Cuban quesadilla; “Pork n Mac” sandwich; a pork, egg and cheese taco; a smoked pork meal kit; and “Big Tex Hand-Made” burrito.

“TXB is constantly looking for ways to innovate our menu with a Texas twist,” said Kevin Smartt, CEO of TXB. “That’s why we chose to source our freshly smoked pork from Austin Blues. We are committed to carefully selecting and sourcing quality ingredients for our menu to give our guests fresh, value-packed meals.”

The LTO menu items are part of the brand's larger initiative to “Leave em’ Better” by sourcing delicious, locally sourced ingredients from around Texas.
