PERTH, Australia – What was originally the site of an aging ATM is now the home of Pizza Deli 24/7, a pizza vending machine located outside a Woolworths in a shopping center just west of Perth.

According to an Australian real estate publication, the pizza vending machine originated in France, where there are at least 500 similar machines in operation, some selling as many as 200 pies a day.

Owners Oliver Lemke and Manu Lasserre say the pizzas are made fresh, pre-baked, topped with locally sourced ingredients and refrigerated. They can be kept in the machine for 72 hours before they “expire,” and they require only three minutes to cook.

Pizza varieties available include margherita, vegetable, chicken and ham with mushrooms. The pizzas are available hot and ready to eat, or cold so they can be heated at home. Prices range from $11 to $15 each.
