NACS Adds Six New Team Members

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NACS has added six new hires to its growing team.
Brennan Duckett joined NACS on May 26 as director, regulatory and policy. He most recently served as director of technology & innovation policy for the National Restaurant Association, where he developed comprehensive legislative, regulatory and grassroots strategies to advance the association’s public policy agenda at the federal and state level. Before that, Duckett was director of government affairs for the Retail Industry Leaders Association. He earned a B.A. in philosophy and a minor in political science from Denison University.
Austin Fuller joined NACS June 3 as senior writer, providing content for NACS Magazine and NACS online content. He has extensive experience writing in the newspaper industry, including stints with the Orlando Sentinel, The Daytona Beach News-Journal and the Daily Commercial. Fuller earned a B.A. in English and philosophy from Stetson University.
Tim Connor joined NACS on June 8 as art director. Prior to joining NACS, he was senior art director at the independent design agency GRAPHEK. Connor also has served in high-level creative positions at Blackboard, Radancy, Brunner, AXIS Communications and The Corcoran Gallery of Art. He earned a B.F.A. in communication arts + design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Lisa Zilka joined NACS on June 15 as senior designer. Prior to joining NACS, she was at USA Today/Studio offset in several roles, most recently as senior graphic designer. Zilka also was assistant art director for Army Times Publishing Co. She earned a B.F.A. in graphic design from the Corcoran School of the Arts + Design.
Rose Jun joined NACS on June 22 as graphic designer. She previously was a multidisciplinary freelance design and served as graphic designer for Idea Grove and Duckwoo Corp. Jun earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in international trade and fashion design from Andong National University in South Korea.
Isabella Montero joined NACS on June 22 as marketing coordinator. A recent graduate from Dartmouth University with a B.A. in cognitive science, she also has internship and work experience with RPD Fund, bp, Atlantis Management Group and Goate Lab Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
