Nouria Adds Automatic Tank Gauge Alarm Monitoring

Nouria Energy has “expanded its longstanding relationship” with PASS by adding Harmonics ATG Connect for automatic tank gauge (ATG) alarm monitoring, according to a press release sent to NACS. Nouria already uses PASS tools for petroleum storage tank compliance management and underground storage tank (UST) operator training.

“Nouria selected the additional ATG monitoring module after evaluating other solutions and testing PASS's approach,” PASS said.

The companies said that Harmonics ATG Connect brings alarm and equipment information into the same environment Nouria uses to manage tank compliance. In return, this gives its facilities and compliance teams a “clearer view” of which sites are reporting, which alarms need attention and how issues are addressed and documented across its network.

The module supports remote interaction with ATGs and access to release detection and inventory information. Nouria said it expects the shared view to help its teams coordinate responses and maintain records of corrective work.

The planned integration is still in development. It is “intended to give the teams responsible for corrective work better access to ATG alarms and related compliance information, and clearer visibility from identification through resolution.”
