Retailers Gear Up for National Coffee Day

Sheetz is gearing up for National Coffee Day on September 29 “with “a free self-serve coffee—hot or iced, any size, including XL—with any qualified purchase. This limited-time offer is available starting on National Coffee Day (Tuesday, September 29) through Thursday, October 1, 2026, at all 850-plus Sheetz locations,” a spokesperson for the company told NACS.

To redeem the offer, customers must be enrolled in the My Sheetz Rewardz loyalty program. The offer is limited to one redemption per loyalty member and is not valid with purchases of fuel, alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, lottery items, half-gallon or gallon milk, financial or prepaid cards, or Sheetz gift cards.

Over at Pilot, the company is offering free hot coffee to all customers on September 29 at its 900-plus Pilot, Flying J and One9 locations across North America, a spokesperson told NACS. Customers can redeem the offer through the Pilot app at checkout.

Meanwhile 7-Eleven is “brewing up a pair of sweet deals” at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores for National Coffee Day on September 29, a spokesperson told NACS.

The deals include:

• $1.49 Large Coffee: 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty members can fill up a large coffee for $1.49.
• $1 7-Select Mini Donuts: Customers can also grab 7-Select Mini Donuts for $1, available in chocolate, cinnamon sugar, crunch and powdered sugar.

Dunkin’ is collaborating with L.L. Bean, offering free coffee for rewards members on the 29 and launching the L.L.Bean x Dunkin’ product line. The L.L. Bean collab features a sweater, a tote bag and the Dunkin’ x L.L Bean Boat and Tote Cup Holder bag.

At Caribou Coffee , guests can choose from a free medium hot coffee or cold brew with the purchase of any beverage at participating Caribou Coffee locations nationwide on September 29.

7 Brew is offering customers a collectible free state license plate sticker on the holiday with the purchase of any drink. The brand said the stickers “are designed to celebrate the unique license plate style of each state! Stickers are distributed by state.”
