California-based Loop Neighborhood Markets is partnering with Lula Commerce to launch first-party and third-party online ordering across its network, according to a press release sent to NACS. The initial rollout will take place in the coming months.
“Through this partnership, Loop Neighborhood will utilize Lula’s comprehensive suite to own its digital presence from end to end. Loop will leverage Lula Prime to seamlessly connect its in-store inventory to customers across leading third-party delivery marketplaces, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. The brand will also deploy Lula Direct to launch a highly profitable, branded first-party ordering experience,” Lula said.
"At Loop, we've always prided ourselves on being more than just a corner store,” said Varish Goyal, CEO of Loop Neighborhood Markets. “Partnering with Lula Commerce will allow us to bring our unique selection of fresh food, craft beverages and everyday essentials directly to our customers' doors."
“Loop Neighborhood is modeling the way for convenience retail in California, proving that convenience stores can be a premium, lifestyle destination,” said Adit Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Lula Commerce. “We are thrilled to help them translate that incredible in-store vibe into a frictionless online experience.”
Earlier this year, Loop partnered with Krispy Krunchy Chicken to add the foodservice provider’s menu to 12 California stores.
The expanded offer aims “to address the rising demand for quality hot food offerings in c-stores,” Krispy Krunchy said.
