BP Pulse has joined ChargeHub's Passport Hub EV roaming platform, bringing more than 850 BP Pulse charging points across 95-plus BP Pulse locations into the Passport Hub ecosystem. The company said the network allows EV drivers to find, access and pay for charging through the ChargeHub app and the growing network of e‑Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs) and automakers connected to Passport Hub.

"We're focused on making charging simple, reliable, and easy to access wherever drivers need it. By partnering with ChargeHub, we're expanding access to the bp pulse network through trusted roaming partners for EV drivers on the road. Charging networks working better together benefits the entire EV ecosystem and is an important step toward accelerating EV adoption,” said Sujay Sharma, VP of EV charging, U.S., at BP.

BP Pulse has been expanding its EV charging network. Most recently in August, it opened its first EV charging site in Alabama, adding 12 charging bays to a TravelCenters of America (TA) station in Grand Bay. It also continued to roll out more stations in California (12 bays at a TA station in Santa Nella), Oregon (six bays at a Beaverton ARCO/ampm station), Texas (22 bays near the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport and 12 at a Baytown TA location), and Washington (12 bays at a TA travel center in North Bend).

In June, it opened its first EV charging hub in the state of Louisiana. Located at a TA site in Slidell, Louisiana, the site features 12 ultrafast EV charging bays with a mix of CCS and NACS connectors. In May, BP Pulse opened a new EV charging hub near Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah, marking the first BP Pulse hub in the state. BP Pulse said the hub is located less than three miles from the airport and features 24 ultrafast EV charging bays with 400kW chargers and a mix of CCS and NACS connectors.
