Altria Group reported Thursday that net revenues in the third quarter increased 1% year-over-year to $6.132 billion.

The company reported diluted earnings per share were $1.51, a 7.1% jump compared to the same period last year.

“Altria delivered strong financial performance in the third quarter, growing adjusted diluted earnings per share by 4.8%, while continuing to invest in our vision and building on our foundation for the future,” said Altria CEO Sal Mancuso in an earnings release. “In smokeable products, PM USA grew operating companies income through its data-driven, total portfolio approach, with Cowboy Cut strengthening Marlboro’s premium position and Basic continuing to gain share in discount.”

Altria affiliate Helix Innovations also recently expanded its on! PLUS portfolio with blueberry mint and mango pineapple flavors across 6-, 9- and 12-milligram nicotine strengths, the release said.

Watermelon mint flavor is also expected to join the portfolio at select retail locations in the fourth quarter, the release said.

“In smoke-free, Helix made meaningful progress by expanding on! PLUS 12-milligram nationwide, investing in brand-building initiatives and preparing for its next wave of innovation, which is now underway with the introduction of Blueberry Mint and Mango Pineapple flavor extensions at retail,” Mancuso said in the release.

In July, Altria said on! PLUS had expanded to 120,000 stores nationwide.
