The totals are in, and the NACS Political Action Committee (NACSPAC) team raised an all-time record of $232,705 in contributions at the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2026 total handily exceeded NACS’ goal and surpassed the previous record of $175,742 raised at the 2025 NACS Show in Chicago.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made a contribution to NACSPAC this year—whether at the 2026 show or at another time,” said Katie Bohny Cormier, NACS’ director of political engagement. “Our political engagement activities are essential parts of the day-to-day work we do at NACS to advance convenience and fuel retailing, and we are glad to have the support of our colleagues in the industry.”

The NACS team would like to issue a special thanks to Jigar “JP” Patel, a member of NACS’ board and political engagement committee, who was instrumental in this year’s fundraising efforts.

“Getting involved with our political engagement process can be as simple as signing up to be a Friends of NACS member so you can stay engaged in our work,” said Cormier. “As important as the political engagement process is, it never has to feel intimidating or difficult. Our team is here to help anyone who is curious.”

NACSPAC was established in 1979 by NACS as the entity through which the association can legally contribute funds to political candidates supportive of our industry's issues. Like all PACs, NACSPAC operates under strict contribution limits and reporting requirements set by federal law.
