Sheetz this week officially cut the ribbon on its $169 million food manufacturing and distribution center in Findlay, Ohio, according to a press release sent to NACS.

“The new facility, which officially begins operations on October 11, 2026, will create more than 750 jobs over the next five years, bringing significant new employment opportunities to Findlay, Hancock County and the Northwest Ohio region. More than 200 people are currently employed at the facility,” Sheetz said.

The opening of the facility comes as Sheetz continues to expand its presence across Ohio, where the company currently operates 140 stores. Sheetz said the Findlay facility will play an important role in supporting Sheetz’s growing footprint across the state and the broader Midwest.

“This morning marked a significant milestone for Sheetz as we celebrated the completion of this leading-edge facility, representing a $169 million investment in the Findlay community and creating hundreds of quality jobs for area residents,” said Sheetz President and CEO Travis Sheetz. “This ribbon-cutting represents far more than an opening of a new facility, it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our company in Ohio and the Midwest region.”

Sheetz also presented a $10,000 donation to the West Ohio Food Bank in recognition of Hunger Action Day.

Sheetz’s Findlay facility is the company’s third distribution and food manufacturing facility, joining those already operating in Claysburg, Pennsylvania and Burlington, North Carolina.

Sheetz also announced the future location of its first-ever store in Indiana. Located at 1505 E. 86th Street in Indianapolis, the new store is expected to break ground next spring and open to the public in late summer 2027.

In Connecticut, Alltown Fresh recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in New Milford. The New Milford location marks the 18th Alltown Fresh location overall and its fifth in Connecticut.

The celebration brought together community leaders, local partners, families and guests for an afternoon of speeches, food, giveaways, vendor sampling, arts and crafts, and a visit from the local radio station.

Meanwhile in New York state, the Briad Group recently announced the grand opening of its first multi-brand Circle K travel center, in Binghamton, New York, scheduled for Fall 2026. A second multi-brand Circle K travel center in Watertown, New York, is under construction and expected to open in January 2027.

“The Binghamton and Watertown developments mark the first in a planned series of next-generation convenience and travel centers that will bring together fuel services, convenience retail, and nationally recognized quick-service restaurants under one roof,” the company said.
