Idaho-based Oasis Stop ‘N Go has partnered with Washie, a smart toilet seat technology company, according to a press release sent to NACS.
As part of the collaboration, Washie's smart toilet seats are being installed across 17 Oasis Stop ‘N Go locations throughout Idaho.
“Washie's smart toilet seats offer a modern approach to public restroom hygiene by eliminating the need for traditional paper toilet seat covers. Rather than relying on paper barriers, Washie allows users to clean the seat themselves using an alcohol-based solution applied directly to the surface, leaving behind a fresh, pleasant scent. The technology gives customers greater control over their restroom experience while helping businesses maintain higher standards of cleanliness,” Washie said.
"We're excited to partner with Oasis Stop ‘N Go, a company that has spent decades building strong relationships with its customers and communities," said Rob Poleki, founder and CEO of Washie. "Restroom cleanliness is an important part of the customer experience, particularly for convenience stores serving travelers every day. Bringing our technology to Oasis locations is another opportunity to make public restrooms cleaner, more comfortable and easier to use."
RaceTrac partnered with Washie in 2024. Washie said that of a survey of more than 950 customers at RaceTrac locations equipped with Washie, nearly 90% reported that the technology improved their restroom experience.
Restrooms shouldn’t be built as merely functional stops; they’re an opportunity for c-stores to continue their brand.
