In Utah, BP Pulse opened a new EV charging hub near Salt Lake City International Airport, marking the first BP Pulse hub in the state, the company told NACS.
BP Pulse said the hub is located less than three miles from the airport and features 24 ultrafast EV charging bays with 400kW chargers and a mix of CCS and NACS connectors.
“The opening builds on BP Pulse’s plans to build hubs near airports in collaboration with Hertz, with similar hubs already operating at Hertz properties near Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston [airports]. These sites are particularly aimed at ride-hail drivers, providing them with fast and convenient charging on the go, as well as airport EV renters and local EV owners,” the company said.
Stewart’s Shops said it is investing $55 million this year to expand, renovate and rebuild shops across upstate New York and Vermont.
The retailer said it is also working on the construction of shops in Sidney, Alexandria Bay and Cohoes, New York; and is rebuilding locations in Dolgeville, Norwich, Saratoga Springs, St. Johnsville, Watertown and Wilton in New York.
In addition to the larger construction projects, Stewart’s is reportedly remodeling at least 15 shops to increase food and beverage offerings.
Stewart’s is also amid a multi-year, $30 million expansion of its plant and commercial kitchen just outside Saratoga Springs in Greenfield, New York.
Meanwhile, the company also said it continues to rebrand several of the former Jolley shops that were acquired in late 2024.
