Sheetz announced immediate plans to hire 500 employees in Pennsylvania, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.

Sheetz said it will be hosting hiring events with on-the-spot interviews at each of its 315 Pennsylvania locations on Wednesday, March 25, as part of a “broader hiring effort” at its more than 810 locations across its seven-state footprint. In total, the company aims to hire 1,540 employees company-wide, it said.

At its Pennsylvania stores, Sheetz said it is hiring: store team members to prepare made-to-order food in the kitchen, provide total customer focus at the register and maintain store cleanliness; supervisors to prioritize in-store tasks, delegate effectively and foster a positive work culture; and assistant managers to lead and manage day-to-day store operations in the manager’s absence, ensure fully staffed stores and foster positive relationships with employees and the community.

“Sheetz is looking for people who bring energy and thrive in fast-paced environments, where no two shifts are the same. Ideal candidates tackle challenges head-on, stay positive during busy times, and genuinely care about their team, customers and community,” Sheetz said.

In other recent Sheetz news, Sheetz opened its newest store in Eastpointe, Michigan late last month. The company also announced 14 new locations are coming to southeast Michigan in 2026.

“This is an incredibly exciting year for Sheetz in Michigan,” Nick Ruffner, public affairs manager, told news outlet Click On Detroit. “We can’t wait to become part of these communities, and we look forward to serving the specific needs of our neighbors in each of these areas.”
