Arko is celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary with a nationwide fuel savings initiative: customers enrolled in Arko’s fas REWARDS loyalty program can save up to $2.50 per gallon on up to 20 gallons through stackable fuel discounts earned on qualifying purchases inside the store.
“Building on the success of the original 2025 campaign, this enhanced effort reflects Arko’s continued commitment to easing fuel expenses for everyday customers during a time of elevated household expenses. Through everyday purchases of qualifying items, fas REWARDS members can accumulate cents‑off‑per‑gallon rewards in their virtual wallet, stacking them up to $2.50 off per gallon subject to state restrictions. For a 20‑gallon fill‑up, that means customers can save up to $50 at the pump,” the retailer wrote.
Wawa and The Wawa Foundation are gearing for America’s 250th anniversary by continuing their “annual support of the USO,” announcing new and existing ways customers can show thanks to those who serve.
The retailer said that during an in-store fundraising campaign from May 25 to July 19, customers can round up at checkout to donate to the USO. During 2025’s campaign window, customers raised $900,000 to support the USO’s programs.
From June 15 to July 4, customers can visit any Wawa to order a limited-time red, white and blue razz lemonade to “toast America’s 250th and the everyday heroes who serve our communities.” Wawa launched the beverage along with making a $50,000 donation to the USO in honor of America’s anniversary.
Meanwhile Wawa’s Hoagie Day returns on July 1. The “long-standing tradition of giving back by distributing thousands of hoagies in one day” kicks off at noon in Philadelphia at Independence Mall. The retailer will give out 30,000 hoagies.
In addition to Hoagie Day in Philadelphia, Wawa said all 1,200 Wawa stores will build and donate 30 hoagies per store to everyday heroes serving their local community for a total of 60,000 hoagies donated in one day.
On July 2, Wawa and The Wawa Foundation will also present the Salute to Service Award as part of the Wawa Welcome America festival in Philadelphia.
“In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary, the award recognizes two outstanding USO Centers and their volunteers who go above and beyond to support military members and their families. The Wawa Foundation will make a $100,000 contribution to the USO in honor of the Salute to Service Award, with $25,000 going to the USO Centers being honored, and $75,000 going to USO centers across Wawa’s footprint,” the retailer said.
