Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s is gearing up for the World Cup Championship match on Sunday, July 19, beginning at 3 p.m., by hosting a watch party at all of its all 1747 Bar & Lounge locations, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.

“In partnership with Red Bull, the event will transform 1747 Bar & Lounge locations into the perfect game-day destination, featuring exclusive food and drink specials all weekend, a lively viewing atmosphere with 20 flat-screen TVs, and a special opportunity for registered Rutter’s Rewards members to win a grand prize,” Rutter’s said.

Guests can pair a Red Bull for $1 alongside any meal from the limited-time World Cup menu. Rutter’s said the celebration will continue with a selection of drink specials and featured beverages, with offerings varying by location.

This week, registered Rutter’s Rewards members can also visit 1747 Bar & Lounge locations to scan an on-site QR code and enter the World Cup Viewing Party Sweepstakes. One grand prize winner will receive a PlayStation 5 console and FIFA 2026 video game bundle.

“1747 Bar & Lounge locations are designed to bring people together, and there’s no better occasion than the World Cup Championship,” said Connor Fenix, marketing events coordinator with Rutter’s. “From exclusive food and drink specials to an exciting prize and energetic atmosphere, we’re looking forward to giving our customers an unforgettable game-day experience.”

Earlier this week, Rutter’s announced it is gearing up to celebrate “717 Day,” a nod to the retailer’s home area code, by hosting York native and professional golfer Carson Bacha for a meet-and-greet event.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Rutter’s location at 1450 Mount Zion Road in York, Pennsylvania, and “will celebrate York County roots with a day of local pride, community engagement and family-friendly fun.” The event will be free and open to the public.
