Mountain Dew has teamed up again with Trolli to “tap into fan demand for fruit-forward heat and tropical-meets-spicy flavors” with a new limited-edition beverage: Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch.
“Sweet-and-spicy pairings have become a defining trend as fans seek powerful, unexpected combinations that balance contrasting flavors. Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch is a bold, fizzy soda bursting with mango, pineapple and a hint of strawberry flavors. Paired with Trolli Spicy Crawlers, the two create a blend of spicy and sweet elements in every chewy bite and sip—making it the ultimate combination for fans to Do the Dew and Do the Worm, with just a little kick of heat,” the brands said.
Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch will be available through October. It is available at U.S. retailers in packs of 12-ounce cans and 20-ounce Bottles, as well as at participating Pizza Hut locations in 20-ounce bottles.
The new offering comes on the heels of Mountain Dew x Trolli Cherry Lemon, which debuted last year.
FLRT, from the Monster Beverage Company, is rolling out Apple Bottoms Up, its first flavor innovation since the brand’s launch earlier this year. “The autumnal limited-edition offering delivers the crisp, juicy taste of green apple with a bright, slightly tart finish,” the brand said.
The limited-edition flavor will be available nationwide in 12-ounce cans on September 1.
