QuikTrip recently opened its first Utah location in Marriott-Slaterville, “with plans to expand to additional locations in the coming years,” according to the retailer. The store will be open 24/7.

The Marriott-Slaterville location is built on QT’s travel center concept and includes 16 gas pumps and six high-flow diesel bays for tractor-trailers. QuikTrip said the store creates approximately 24 local jobs.

A grand opening celebration featuring product samples, prizes and family-friendly activities is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 22. To celebrate the grand opening, QT is also offering drivers 25 cents off per gallon of gas when using QT Pay in the QuikTrip app, plus 5% off in-store and in-app purchases.

The Spinx Company opened its newest store at 296 Charter Oak Road in Lexington, South Carolina.

“The new Lexington location is part of Spinx’s continued commitment to expanding its presence throughout the Carolinas while supporting the communities it serves. For a limited time, customers can enjoy grand opening specials, including an 8-piece FreshBites for $3.99, buy one, get one free Boiled Peanuts and a Lil’ Chicken Biscuit combo with a hash brown and beverage for just $2.99,” the retailer said.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Spinx presented a $5,000 donation to Mission Lexington, a local nonprofit that provides food, clothing, shelter, resources and guidance to individuals and families in the Lexington community.

In New York State, Stewart’s Shops opened a new location in Sidney. “Located at 11 Steiner Road, Stewart’s new 4,500-square-foot shop represents a $4.3 million investment in Sidney. This shop brings new life and energy to a property that was home to an abandoned grocery store for many years,” Stewart’s said.

Stewart’s will host a grand opening event on August 21 with specials on breakfast sandwiches, coffee, gas, milk, pizza and ice cream.

Stewart’s will also donate $2,000 to the Cullman Child Development Center to support scholarships and upgrades to their playground.
