Utah-based Holiday Oil has been named a 2026 USA Today Top Workplaces award winner, marking the second consecutive year the company has received the recognition, a spokesperson for Holiday Oil told NACS. USA Today’s award honors organizations with 150 or more employees that have created exceptional, people-first cultures.

The winners are determined by employee feedback captured through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, an HR research and technology company. Results are calculated based on employee responses to statements about workplace experience themes, which are proven indicators of high performance, the company said.

“The honor reflects Holiday Oil’s ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive, people-first workplace culture across its growing network of Utah convenience stores,” the retailer said.

“We are honored to be recognized as a USA Today Top Workplace for the second year in a row,” said James Peterson, president of Holiday Oil. “As a family-owned company, we have always believed our people are at the heart of everything we do. This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based on feedback from our employees, and it reflects the culture we work hard to build every day across our stores and support teams.”

Other c-stores that made the list included Georgia-based Parker’s Kitchen and Indiana-based Family Express.

NACS serves the global convenience and fuel retailing industry by providing industry knowledge, connections and issues leadership to ensure the competitive viability of its members’ businesses.
