Retailers Celebrate New Locations

Dash In, Wawa, Sheetz and more opened new stores recently.

Dash In opened a new store in Ellicott City, Maryland. “Located at 9075 Baltimore National Pike, our all-new store, with a sparkling Splash In tunnel car wash on-site, brings an elevated experience with features designed to make every visit special,” The Wills Group said on LinkedIn.

The new store features an open kitchen focused on fresh food, a craft beverage wall with a variety of drink options, concierge service; and Dash In Rewards for fuel, car washes and food.

The Wills Group also said that Dash In will donate $50,000 to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay to support their work across the Chesapeake Bay watershed in honor of the opening.

Sheetz held a grand opening celebration for its new Dinwiddie County, Virginia location. “Nearly 300 people came out to celebrate the big day,” the retailer said via a LinkedIn post.

Wawa celebrated the opening of its first store in Tallahassee, Florida by holding a grand opening ceremony and presenting a check to Second Harvest of the Big Bend, which is a Tallahassee-based non-profit helping provide meals.

TravelCenters of America opened its 34th location in Texas with its new Houston location. The store features a Miss J’s Café, eight diesel fueling positions, 12 gasoline fueling positions, 70 truck parking spots, eight private showers, laundry facilities and a driver’s lounge.

Royal Farms announced it will be opening its fourth location in Greenville, North Carolina next month. Customers are invited to tour the new store and enjoy a complimentary meal from the soft opening menu during the grand opening, Royal Farms said in a press release.

Stinker Stores opened a new location in Cascade, Idaho. QuickChek opened the doors to a new store in Manalapan, New Jersey.
