NEW YORK—As more Americans are drinking coffee at home, Chobani this month is expanding its U.S. offerings beyond yogurt, coffee creamers and oat milk to a new line of ready-to-drink cold-pressed coffee drinks, CNBC reports.

Made with 100% Arabica beans, the drinks will be available in four flavors: an unsweetened “Cold Brew Pure Black,” a cane sugar-sweetened cold brew with Chobani-made oat milk, a sweetened cold brew with cow’s milk, and a sweetened cold brew with cow’s milk and vanilla flavor. The coffee is packaged in 32-ounce Tetra Top cartons, so they are easily recycled.

“We were starting with the creamer products, and it’s gone so well that we said let’s continue on our path, and this was the next, natural step for us,” Chobani chief innovation officer Niel Sandfort told CNBC.

Retail sales in the ready-to-drink coffee category climbed 17% to $1.6 billion in the 52 weeks ended Oct. 31, according to Nielsen data.

The category “has been one of the fastest growing segments of the entire non-alcoholic beverage industry,” Caleb Bryant, associate director of food & drink at Mintel, told CNN Business. Mintel estimates the U.S. ready-to-drink coffee market will grow to about $4 billion in 2020, up 7.6% from the previous year.
