C-Store Swag for the Holidays

Nothing says “I care” like a stocking stuffer from Buc-ee’s, Kwik Trip, QuikTrip, Sheetz or Wawa.

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—On the hunt for a quirky holiday gift? Convenience retailers are selling a range of seasonal swag, from Wawa-branded PEZ candy dispensers to Kwik Trip-themed underwear, and touting them on social media.

Ahead of Christmas, LaCrosse, Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip has introduced limited edition themed men’s boxers and women’s briefs. “Nobooty was prepared for this. Order your Midwest stocking stuffer at kwiktripmerch.com,” Kwik Trip tweeted.

Over in Tulsa, Oklahoma, QuikTrip is “shaking up the holidays” by giving away QT snow globes to social media fans. Last month, the c-store chain gave away “Let It Snackle” holiday sweaters boosting hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, pretzels and other goodies. “Last call for the tastiest, tackiest sweaters of the season,” QT tweeted in November under #QTForTheHolidays.

“Who started their holiday shopping?” Wawa tweeted last week, inviting followers to “check out our merch.” The Pennsylvania, retailer on Friday tweeted a photo of Wawa tumblers against Christmas greenery. Wawa’s merchandise website features such novelties as a micro plush blanket and Wawa Goose knit socks, but you’ll only find the limited edition Wawa tractor-trailer PEZ dispensers in stores.

If Boom Boom sauce is your thing, head over to the Sheetz’ Shop to pick up lounge pants adorned with the Altoona, Pennsylvania retailer’s famous condiment and perhaps a Sheetz-logoed hoodie blanket to top it off. Or snap up “Winter Wonderland” ground coffee to enjoy on a lazy winter morning.

Down south, Buc-ee’s, based in Lake Jackson, Texas, has an especially festive selection of holiday t-shirts and sweaters to make the most of virtual office parties and family celebrations.
