Pennsylvania-based Onvo is celebrating Nurses Week May 6-12 by offering a special "Coffee for Caregivers" promotion at its 41 convenience and travel plaza locations across Pennsylvania and upstate New York. Nurses who present a valid employee ID will receive a free coffee of any size at all Onvo locations.

"Available in-store only, the promotion is a small token of appreciation for the nurses who help keep communities moving and fuel healthcare throughout the region," Onvo said.

In addition to free coffee, select Onvo locations will also feature "surprise-and-delight" moments throughout the week, with added giveaways and perks for nurses who stop in.

"At Onvo, we believe in giving back to those who give so much to others," said Harman Aulakh, vice president of marketing at Onvo. "Nurses play an essential role in our communities, and this is just one way we're saying, 'thank you.' Whether they are fueling up before a shift or unwinding after a long day, we're proud to offer a little boost to help keep them going."

In other recent Onvo news, in March the retailer ran a month-long bracket-style promotion in the Onvo Rewards mobile app to celebrate basketball's March Madness.

"Designed to spark engagement and reward loyal guests, the campaign transforms the excitement of bracket season into interactive snack and beverage showdowns—culminating in free offers for winning products," Onvo said.
