QuikTrip Opens 20th Illinois Location
Plus, Love’s and Royal Farms also recently opened new stores.

QuikTrip (QT) recently opened a new travel center in Minooka, Illinois, the retailer told NACS. This is QuikTrip’s 20th location in Illinois, with stores in Bridgeview and South Holland currently under construction and scheduled to open in the coming months.
“As a travel center, this location features a larger lot and a more spacious store design than a traditional QT. The Minooka location has room to service 20 vehicles for gas and six diesel bays for trucks,” the retailer said.
Inside, customers will find QT Kitchens, the company’s signature foodservice offering, with a wide selection of grab-and-go meals and made-to-order options.
“Cities and towns across Chicagoland and the state of Illinois have continued to embrace QT as more than a convenience store, and we are excited to join the Minooka community,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “Our travel center model will offer a clean and friendly stop for the many travelers driving on I-80 as well as provide quality jobs, efficient service and reliable support for local residents.”
Meanwhile in Ohio, Love’s Travel Stops is expanding its network with the opening of a new travel stop in Delta. Love’s said this location in Fulton County “serves as a critical stop for travelers and professional drivers navigating the Ohio Turnpike, strengthening Love’s network in a high-traffic Midwest corridor.”
The new travel stop has 108 truck parking spaces and provides free parking for customers. So far in 2026, Love’s has added 642 truck parking spaces across the country.
In Virginia, Royal Farms recently opened a new location in Ashland, according to a company LinkedIn post.
“We’re excited to celebrate the opening of our new Royal Farms store in Ashland, Virginia, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible team who helped bring it to life! A new store opening is always a big milestone, and it takes dedication, teamwork and heart to make it a success—thank you to our amazing new store team for going above and beyond from day one.
