Maryland-based Dash In recently opened its newest location in Bowie, Maryland, “bringing a food-forward, guest-centered convenience experience” to the area, the retailer said.
To celebrate the opening, Dash In presented $19,000 in donations to local organizations as part of its “First Cut” ceremony. Organizations receiving donations included:
- 2nd Star Productions
- Bowie Interfaith Pantry and Emergency Aid Fund
- Bowie State University Green Ambassadors
- OurSpace World
- Prince George’s County Fire & EMS Department
“The grand opening celebration provided guests with an opportunity to experience the Dash In experience first-hand and allowed the Bowie community to connect and explore the new store and car wash. … The Mill Branch location in Bowie was designed to make life easier while delivering the quality and hospitality guests expect from Dash In,” the retailer said.
Meanwhile in Florida, the Pilot Company recently celebrated the opening of its newest store in Ponce de Leon.
“Joined by members of the local community and our retail leadership team, a $20,000 check was presented to the Holmes District School Board to support the purchase of Chromebooks. We’re proud to be part of the Ponce de Leon community,” Pilot posted on LinkedIn.
Over at ExtraMile Convenience Stores, the retailer said it has already opened three new stores in June, bringing its total new store count to 25 so far in 2026.
“Not only did we see these openings in different states, they took place at both Chevron and Texaco stations. The drive to 25 stores brings ExtraMile closer to 1,200 total stores in our network,” the retailer posted on LinkedIn.
