Love’s Travel Stops opened its first location of 2026 in Alamosa, Colorado, earlier this month.
“The Alamosa country store includes Love’s fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads, wraps and fresh-cut fruit prepared on-site daily. The food is made in an open kitchen concept where customers can see food items prepared. The location also includes Godfather’s Pizza,” the retailer said.
The store features three RV parking spaces and 50 car parking spots. The store also has space allocated for EV chargers. If there is customer demand, the company will be able to quickly partner with local utility companies and install EV charging stations, it said.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s donated $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of San Luis Valley and $5,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado.
In February, Love’s mapped out its 2026 growth plan, with goals to add 20 new stores, remodel 35 existing stores, add 100 EV charges, expand its foodservice offer and more.
