Alcohol Brands Lean Into Unique Branding for New Releases

BuzzBalls is hosting a ‘Pink Lemonsqueezy One Night Lemonade Stand,’ while Heineken is debuting ‘The Clinker.’

BuzzBallz is gearing up for “lemonade season” with the Pink Lemonsqueezy One Night Lemonade Stand, “a massive adults-only mobile pop-up housed inside the largest BuzzBallz ever built.”

The brand said the 10-foot, 3,000-pound spherical stand is coming to select cities for one-night-only pop-ups from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., where guests can sip the new Pink Lemonsqueezy flavor, buy exclusive merch and get custom totes stocked with “late-night essentials including phone chargers, gum, mouthwash and snacks.”

BuzzBallz's new Pink Lemonsqueezy cocktail is available now at retailers nationwide and is described as delivering a bright pink lemonade flavor with a hint of berry-like sweetness.

Voodoo Ranger, under the New Belgium Brewing brand, announced the "Invincible VS" IPA Variety Pack, which will be available nationwide from April to July.

“Based on Prime Video's global hit animated series ‘Invincible,’ the new ‘Invincible VS’ is a highly anticipated superhero 3v3 tag-team fighting game from Skybound Entertainment's internal development studio, Quarter Up. To celebrate the launch, Voodoo Ranger's IPA Variety Pack will include a bold new 8% ABV Blood Orange IPA. … the exclusive beer will give gamers access to 200 exclusive game codes through promotional giveaways. Fans can also receive custom in-game character skin, available to all entrants,” the brand said.

Meanwhile at Heineken, the company is celebrating its sponsorship of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival with the launch of The Clinker.

Heineken said the Clinker “is a smart band that wraps around Heineken cans and glasses … The unique tech syncs with fans' streaming data to detect musical commonalities with a simple 'clink.' When two cans touch, a compatibility light signals a match and allows them to connect on social media.”

The company said Coachella will be the first opportunity to try The Clinker—available on festival grounds only at Heineken House.

Non-alcoholic beer brand Athletic Brewing Company is celebrating Earth Month with the launch of the "Our Brews Give Back" campaign, highlighting its new environmental program.

“At the center of the month-long effort is Two For The Trails Milestone Edition IPA, a limited-time offering crafted to celebrate Athletic Brewing's namesake trail restoration program and the outdoor spaces it helps protect.
