Georgia-based Parker’s Kitchen has entered a four-year partnership with Georgia Southern University Athletics, the retailer stated in a press release sent to NACS.

The four-year partnership includes a newly branded, designated student entrance for home football games at Allen E. Paulson Stadium in Statesboro, Georgia, as well as stadium signage. The retailer said the new collaboration officially debuted at Georgia Southern University’s home football game on September 20, when the Eagles faced off against the University of Maine Black Bears at Paulson Stadium.

In addition, Parker’s Kitchen said it is “The Official Convenience Store of Georgia Southern Athletics” and will launch its first-ever NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) partnership with Georgia Southern football player Davion “Chewy” Rhodes, who shares the same nickname as the c-store company’s mascot.

The collaboration will spotlight Rhodes as the face of the new Parker’s Kitchen Chewy Rhodes Hot Honey Combo, which will also be featured across digital platforms as well as in social media campaigns, in-store marketing and game-day activations.

“We’re incredibly excited to launch this new long-term partnership with the impressive team at Georgia Southern Athletics,” said Parker’s Kitchen CEO Brandon Hofmann. “Together, this multi-faceted partnership and NIL collaboration will showcase our continued investment in Georgia Southern University, supporting their successful athletics program while also strengthening our efforts to recruit Georgia Southern graduates to join our workforce.”

Last month, Parker’s Kitchen was included on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States for the eighth year. The Inc. 5000 list recognizes top privately owned companies in the U.S. To earn a spot on the annual Inc. 5000 list, companies were required to demonstrate significant revenue and human resources growth between 2021 and 2024.
