EG America raised more than $597,000 for the American Cancer Society during its nationwide in-store fundraiser in July, the company said.

Throughout the month, customers at EG America's Certified Oil, Cumberland Farms, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf 'N Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint Food Stores, Tom Thumb and Turkey Hill stores were able to donate $1, $5, or an amount of their choosing to the American Cancer Society at checkout. EG America matched the amounts raised by the top stores.

"We're dedicated to supporting the American Cancer Society in its efforts to bring hope to those affected by cancer," said Russ Colaco, CEO of EG Group. "Because of the compassion of our guests and the unwavering commitment of our store team members, we're able to help make a difference in the lives of those battling this disease."

EG America said the campaign, Fuel the Hope for Change, will enable the American Cancer Society to “reach more lives through essential advocacy, research and patient support programs.”

Earlier this month, EG America announced its stores are rolling out fall deals and new menu options. The retailer also said that it will offer pumpkin spice-flavored coffee for the first time, as well as a pumpkin spice cappuccino and pumpkin spice-flavored syrup.

Also, at CF North and Fastrac, the retailer rolled out Dubai Hot Chocolate, which it said is similar to the viral favorite chocolate bars, with milk chocolate and layered with nutty pistachio notes.
