Texas-based Urban Value Corner Store announced the grand opening of its latest store, located in Wildflower Ranch, a master-planned community in Justin, Texas.

It is the retailer’s first store specifically designed for a large single-family home community, the retailer said. Its other stores, located throughout Texas, are in mixed-use communities and ground floor retail spaces of apartment buildings, providing a unique amenity for residents.

“We have been looking forward to opening the Wildflower Ranch store since early last year,” said Steve McKinley, founder and CEO of Urban Value Corner Store. “Now that the amenity center has been completed, our store will be one of the first amenities that existing and prospective residents will see upon entering this beautiful new community. Our merchandising selection will focus more on what homeowners will need to improve their living experiences, which may be slightly different from the apartment communities we have been serving over the last six years.”

Over at TravelCenters of America (TA), part of the BP portfolio, the retailer recently opened three new sites in Decatur, Texas, Dale, Indiana, and Fillmore Utah. The Texas location features 77 truck parking spaces, seven diesel lanes and 16 gasoline lanes; the Indiana location provides 114 truck parking spaces, eight diesel lanes and 16 gasoline lanes; and the Utah site offers 25 truck parking spaces, six diesel lanes and 12 gasoline lanes.
