Love’s Travel Stops recently opened a new travel stop in New Iberia, Louisiana—its second store to open in 2025 and its 656th store nationwide, according to a press release.
Located off Highway 90 between New Orleans and Lafayette, the New Iberia travel stop features 63 truck parking spaces, five showers, a CAT scale, three RV hookups, Wi-Fi, a dog park and a dump station. The location also has space allocated for EV chargers.
Love’s said the travel stop adds 85 jobs ranging from store retail operations to foodservice and truck maintenance. In honor of the grand opening, Love’s donated $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana.
Weigel’s celebrated the grand opening of Store #106, located in Elizabethton, Tennessee. “This opening marks an exciting milestone as we bring our very first store to Elizabethton, continuing our growth across East Tennessee. Strong community support and local leadership were present at the celebration, highlighting Weigel’s deep commitment to serving and investing in the neighborhoods we join,” the retailer said in a press release.
Weigel’s presented donation checks to both the Elizabethton Police Department and the Elizabethton Fire Department during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Yatco recently opened its newest location in Leicester, Massachusetts. “Located at 1605 Main St., Store #467 is our second new-to-industry location in 2025. This five-acre commercial development is situated on Route 9 across from Walmart Supercenter. We look forward to welcoming and providing our customers with an amazing shopping, eating and fueling experience at this beautiful new destination,” Yatco said in a LinkedIn post.
Stewart’s Shops reopened its store in Hoosick Falls, New York. Stewart’s said one of the biggest changes to the rebuilt shop is that it now offers gasoline with three pumps and diesel.
